DESCRIPTION

Lightweight and stable walker ACTIVALL can be successfully used for daily rehabilitation not only in hospitals and rehabilitation departments but also in the patient’s home. This device is available in 5 sizes, so it can be used by patients of different age groups. It can also be a great aid for children trying to take their first steps.

The safe and comfortable position in the walker is standing straight. Standing in this position, the patient gets used to the vertical position and better maintains balance. Internal organs, and the circulatory system adapt to new conditions and increased load. The patient can stand in a straight position for a sufficiently long time, at the same time performing exercises or regular daily activities, etc. The device is safe and remains firm and stable even after the patient has lost consciousness.

 Standard set:
Frame with wheels and parking brakes (2 rear wheels with friction brakes, which allow the patient to adjust the speed of movement with ACTIVAL.
Adjustable protective chest support, the height of which depends on how the patient controls his chest. If the patient can remain in an upright position, it does not require much effort and they feels safe, the clamping ring can be attached lower. Nevertheless, in this case, the walking process must be started by attaching the clamping ring at the armpits and then gradually letting it down.
Adjustable protective pelvic support should be at the ridge of the lower limbs. After you set the height, you need to fine-tune the position of the pelvic support (adjustable back and forth), since the correct position of the torso and pelvis depends on this. The ideal position is when the arms, torso, and hips are in line.
Pelvic straps, which are placed between the user’s legs, protect the patient from falling out of the device. It is very important to adjust them correctly so that the user would feel safe and comfortable.
Optionally, leg separator or leg stabilizer.

Only properly trained personnel should always fit the walker to the patient and demonstrate how to perform the exercises. Before using the walker, you should block the wheel brakes and loosen the pelvic and chest supports. If the walker’s wheels are not blocked, it may bend as the patient stands up and the patient risks falling, breaking something, or otherwise injuring themselves. When getting in or out of the frame, you should not lean on the rear clamping ring locks while they are open, as in case of overload, the device may collapse or deform in a way that the clamping lock will no longer work properly.
