LIGHTWEIGHT WHEELCHAIR LIGTHMAN START, SIZE 39 CM

Universal light alloy wheelchair LIGHTMAN START with a reliable construction is designed for active users weighing up to 125 kg with temporary or long-term mobility problems and is intended to use indoors and outdoors. Using it, people can move independently by rotating the metal drive arcs located on the rear wheels. The wheelchair can also be driven by the attendant using pushing handles mounted above the backrest. This model has factory-installed protection from overturn, confidently reducing the risk of such events, especially when riding uphill or on uneven roads.
 
There are 5 different wheelchair seat widths to choose from. A number written on the round sticker on the armrest and on the metal cross located under the seat of the wheelchair (e.g. 39) indicates that the width of the wheelchair seat is 39 cm. The frame of this mobility aid is made of sturdy aluminium, other parts are made of plastic, the upholstery is nylon. The wheelchair is easy to fold, can be disassembled without tools, and is adapted for transportation. To unfold the wheelchair, press the crossbeams of the seat downwards until the seat is fully stretched out. To fold the wheelchair, first, remove or lift the footrest. Taking the seat by the edges, lift it up until the wheelchair is fully folded. Always turn the footrest to the sides or lift them up to get in or out of the wheelchair.  

The seat height (like the centre of gravity) is adjusted according to the needs and skills of the user. Armrests (height is 23 cm) are folded by squeezing plastic brackets, thus ensuring a comfortable transfer from the wheelchair to another surface from the side. Removable, rotating to the sides, height-adjustable (34 – 45 cm) footrests with a removable calf support strap for a comfortable transfer from the front of the wheelchair. Quick fixation rear wheels are inflatable and removable at the touch of a button. Size: front wheels – 20x4.5 cm, rear wheels – 61x3.5 cm. 

Parking brakes are on both sides of the wheelchair, enabled or disabled using special knobs. Push the knob away from you to enable the parking brake. Pull the knob towards you to disable it and move. For greater safety, we recommend that you always apply both brakes at the same time. The parking brake must be used when getting into or out of the wheelchair, but it must not be used to reduce speed.

Each light alloy wheelchair LIGHTMAN START is checked in the factory, so only a quality product reaches the user. It is recommended to store the wheelchair in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, to wet clean it periodically without using aggressive cleaners, or to cover it.

The device has a 24-month warranty (excluding front and rear wheels) from the date of purchase. The wheelchair is delivered in a cardboard box, already ready for use. After unpacking the wheelchair, save the box.
