Standing support for children SMART – is a lightweight, sturdy, stable, and easy-to-use medical device. It is extremely easy to assemble, use and operate. Therefore, caregivers or family members of the patient can take care of the child and carry out the necessary procedures much more comfortably and easily. The manufacturer offers supports in 8 sizes. This support allows patients to move and control their upper limbs safely and easily. The device has a positive effect on the development of users, protects them from possible risks of injury, and reduces the consequences of injuries or movement disorders.

It is recommended to use the device for children with the following disorders:
- cerebral palsy (different types and forms);
- after injuries of the head and spinal cord of different origins, which caused paralysis and weakness of the lower limbs;
- impaired balance and coordination of movements;
- meningocele;
- muscle diseases leading to weakness and paralysis (dystrophy, severe form of asthenia, myositis);
-  genetic diseases
-  degenerative and neurological diseases;
-  other diseases associated with muscle weakness, paralysis, and musculoskeletal disorders;
-  paralysis and paresis after craniocerebral or spinal and spine injuries.

This device stands out with an innovative UPRIGHT PRO© system, which consists of pelvic and chest supports with adjustable length straps. Their shape and method of fastening guarantee the correct posture of the child with a straightened back. The above-mentioned supports have extremely high flexibility, therefore the device can be easily adapted to each patient according to their individual needs. The device also has adjustable footrests with repositionable braces and repositionable footrests with leg fasteners. Four easily rotating wheels with brakes are installed at the base of the device, allowing patients to easily move on an even surface. The necessary accessories can be purchased at an additional cost.

Standing support for children SMART  is suitable for use only if the device and supports were adjusted taking into account the height and weight of the patient. It is prohibited to hold a child in a certain position by force. Such actions will make the patient feel uncomfortable and prevent them from maintaining proper posture.

Store the device in a clean, dry and properly ventilated room. It is necessary to carry out cleaning and maintenance work once a month according to the instructions in the manual.

This means that our client who provides the necessary documentation can be reimbursed up to 1,200 Euro, but not more than actual acquisition costs, once every 4 years.
