TRANSIT WHEELCHAIR LIGHTMAN TRAVEL, SIZE 38 CM

Transport wheelchair LIGHTMAN TRAVEL with strong and reliable construction is intended for people weighing up to 120 kg with temporary or long-term mobility problems. The wheelchair does not have driving arcs, so it is not suitable for independent use – only an attendant can drive the wheelchair both indoors and outdoors using pushing handles mounted above the backrest. 

A number written on the round sticker on the armrest and on the metal cross located under the seat of the wheelchair (e.g. 46) indicates that the width of the wheelchair seat is 46 cm. Backrest and seat of the wheelchair are nylon, padded, removable, machine washable. Backrest height – 45 cm, seat depth – 41 cm. Removable, rotating to the sides, height-adjustable (34 – 45 cm) footrests with removable heel support strap. Front wheels are made of soft material, monolithic (non-inflatable), 19x5 cm, rear – inflatable, 31 cm. To ensure safety, periodically check the air pressure in the rear tyres. Set includes a 4 cm cushion, pump, set of adjustment tools, instruction manual in Lithuanian.

The structure of this mobility aid is made of aluminium, painted, with a cross-shaped element, so the wheelchair is easily folded and is convenient for transportation. The width of the folded wheelchair is only 32 cm. To unfold the wheelchair, press the crossbeams of the seat downwards until the seat is fully stretched out. To fold the wheelchair, first, remove or lift the footrest. Taking the seat by the edges, lift it up until the wheelchair is fully folded. Always turn the footrest to the sides or lift them up to get in or out of the wheelchair. 

The armrests of the wheelchair (height with a cushion – 21.5 cm) can be lifted. We recommend lifting them when sitting in/getting out of the wheelchair from the side. When riding, the armrests must be locked. 

The wheelchair is equipped with a double braking system – for the attendant and user. Attendant brakes installed on the pushing handles can slow down the speed of the wheelchair (especially when going downhill) or completely block the rear wheels. To slow down the wheelchair, lift the brake handles up with both hands at the same time. To lock the rear wheels when the brake handles are in the upper position, fold down the brackets below the brake handles. User brakes are installed on both sides of the wheelchair above the rear wheels, enabled or disabled using a special knob. Push the knob away from you to enable the parking brake, pull the knob towards you to disable it and move. The parking brake must be used when getting into or out of the wheelchair, but it must not be used to reduce speed.

The wheelchair is sold fully assembled – you just need to install the footrest. Before use always make sure that the footrest is firmly attached. After unpacking the wheelchair, save the box. 
 
Each transport wheelchair LIGHTMAN TRAVEL is checked in the factory, so only a quality product reaches the user. It is recommended to store the wheelchair in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, to wet clean it periodically without using aggressive cleaners, or to cover it. The wheelchair must be checked regularly, thus guaranteeing the safety and comfort of the user. 

The device has a 24-month warranty (excluding front and rear wheels) from the date of purchase.
